Contract development
Bring a specialist developer into an existing team, with responsibilities and delivery priorities agreed around your project.
UK DYNAMICS 365 DEVELOPER
Specialist development for organisations that need more than standard configuration. D365 Integration Solution provides UK-based contract work, project-based development, additional development capacity and ongoing technical support.
BUILT AROUND YOUR PROCESSES
A CRM should reflect how your organisation works. We extend Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Dataverse with custom tables, forms and views that give people the information they need to complete a task.
That starts with understanding the data model, security requirements and responsibilities of each user. Business rules, business process flows and model-driven apps can support the process; custom business logic fills the gaps where standard configuration is insufficient.
The aim is a solution your team can use and maintain, with clear decisions about what belongs in configuration, automation or code.
SERVER-SIDE DEVELOPMENT
Some requirements need to be enforced whenever a record is changed, whether that change comes from a form, an integration or an automated process. We develop C#/.NET plug-ins using the Dataverse SDK to implement validation and server-side business logic consistently.
We consider the plug-in execution pipeline as part of the design: which logic belongs before or after an operation, what needs to complete synchronously, and what can run asynchronously. Filtering attributes, record images and safeguards against repeated execution help keep that logic focused.
Custom APIs can provide a defined operation for other applications to call. Where an existing solution depends on classic workflows, custom workflow activities may also be appropriate. Testing covers failure paths as well as successful execution, so a rejected update or failed dependency is handled deliberately.
Improve how people work in Dynamics 365 with JavaScript form scripting, dynamic forms, validation and Web API calls. Command and ribbon behaviour can put the right action alongside the record it applies to.
Client-side checks guide the user; critical business rules also need appropriate server-side enforcement. We consider loading behaviour and error messages so customisation helps users complete work without unnecessary friction.
When a standard control cannot present or capture information in the way a task requires, we can build bespoke controls with the Power Apps Component Framework.
The control is designed around its place in the model-driven app, including interaction, accessibility, data volume and the devices people use. A custom interface should make a specific task easier while remaining maintainable as the application evolves.
Integration is a core part of our technical work. We connect Dynamics 365 to external business systems using the Dataverse Web API, REST APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus and webhooks.
Beyond moving data, the design needs to establish which system owns each record, how changes are matched and what happens when a dependency is unavailable. We plan authentication, retries, duplicate handling and diagnostics around the requirements of the integration.
Use Power Automate and Dynamics workflows to coordinate approvals, notifications, document processes, external API calls and scheduled automation.
We consider the sequence of events, permissions and recovery when something fails. A process that sends a document, for example, should wait until the required data is available and make failed steps visible to the people responsible.
Generate documents and PDFs from Dynamics 365 data, connect DocuSign and support contract workflows from preparation through to status updates.
We work through template requirements, record relationships and the checks needed before a document is issued. The resulting process should give users a clear view of what was generated, sent or returned, with failures surfaced for follow-up.
EXPERIENCE THROUGHOUT DELIVERY
Work with Nathan Maddock, a solution architect and developer with over 20 years’ experience in software delivery. That experience informs the whole lifecycle: solution design, development, integration, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
We consider how a change will be released and maintained from the outset, including configuration, environment differences and the information your team will need at handover.
